Winter Stations – Living up to the Freeze-Thaw theme!

For the second year, The Beach is playing host to the international design competition, Winter Stations. Given that it was a cold, grey day today, it was great to see so many people out on the beach enjoying the day and the exhibition... It's actually a surreal experience wandering along the beach in full winter gear - especially when you look out and see a guy paddleboarding in the lake! (Now that's dedication to your sport!)

I love unique experiences, and Sail-In Cinema is one of those fun, unique, summertime experiences. Held at Sugar Beach, it reminds me of going to the drive-in movie as a kid, but instead of being in a car, you're either stretched out on a blanket on the beach, sitting in a cozy camp chair, or relaxing on the deck of your boat in the harbour.
