Yes, it’s that time of year… TIFF 2014 has arrived, along with all of the stars, parties and buzz that accompanies the renowned film festival.
And this year a fun new addition to the event has debuted: Festival Street — a pedestrian promenade spanning King St from Peter to University. Available opening weekend only, the street fest includes music venues, al fresco dining zones, a fashion truck, a “play me” piano for anyone feeling inspired to perform, “the world’s most soothing red carpet”, free coffee and iced tea kiosks, and more.
And if you’re lucky, you might just get to see a few stars arriving for their films as well while you’re there!
I loved this addition! Not only is it a fun enhancement for those who typically partake in the festival, but it also offers a great opportunity for everyone in the city to experience the fun and buzz of TIFF.
