What a great night! I love live music – especially in a smaller venue. And last night’s Echo & The Bunnymen show at the Danforth Music Hall certainly delivered! I had seen them years ago in a larger stadium concert, but it is so much more fun and memorable when you’re able to experience a band you really like in a smaller setting. And the Danforth Music Hall is one of my favourite venues to take in a band!
If you’ve never heard of Echo & The Bunnymen, they were a very big part of the alternative music scene in the 80’s. They’ve just released a new ‘live’ album of both new and old tracks. And based on last night’s performance, the band sounds just as good today as they did in the height of their career! If you tend to listen to Indie 88 or Edge 102.1, you’ll definitely want to check them out…here’s a video to get you started.
